What we do

Actel Robotics helps organizations protect what matters most — their people, equipment, and facilities. We deploy autonomous robotic systems for two high-stakes applications: critical equipment inspection and physical security.

For industrial and commercial facilities, our robots perform routine and hazardous inspections of infrastructure, detecting anomalies before they become failures — without putting personnel at risk. For construction sites and secured perimeters, we provide autonomous patrol and surveillance solutions that monitor equipment, deter theft, and flag unauthorized access around the clock.

As an integrator for Boston Dynamics, Ghost Robotics, and Asylon Robotics, Actel Robotics manages the full lifecycle — procurement, deployment, configuration, and ongoing support — so your team gets the capability without the complexity.

New Perspective for Facilities Inspection

New Perspective for Facilities Security

In addition to monitoring critical equipment and facility compliance Spot introduces security patrol as a new mission type. These missions offer visibility to customers seeking eyes on their operation during off-hours, or more security coverage in sensitive areas of their operation. If Spot detects a person during these patrol missions, the robot will pause, activate AV lights, capture PTZ, pano, and thermal images, trigger an alert, and resume its mission path. Companies have found robotic perimeter security to be an effective risk mitigation and security layer for their needs. Solutions like Asylon’s robotic perimeter security offer several interconnected systems—including robots and drones, advanced camera and sensing payloads, infrastructure for charging and storage, software to automate and analyze security rounds, third-party alarm integrations, and human-in-the-loop controls to monitor patrols and respond to active incidents

Using AI and Robotics or Facilities Inspection

Agile mobile robots like Spot are designed to fill this automation gap. Spot is able to navigate complex environments and go anywhere that people can, recovering from slips, rerouting around new obstacles, and delivering the flexibility required in a busy worksite. Operators can create autonomous inspections for Spot to regularly and reliably collect the site and asset data teams need to work more effectively. With onboard cameras and add-on payloads, Spot can conduct visual, thermal, radiation, and acoustic inspections, and laser scans. And unlike fixed sensors, Spot can be redeployed to new areas or with different sensors as needs evolve. Both your robots and your data can be managed in Orbit—our enterprise fleet management software enables you to track inspections and alerts in the context of your facility blueprint, as well as quickly plan and schedule inspection missions. This dynamic approach to sensing makes it easy to implement automated data collection in your existing infrastructure and processes.
