The Expertise Behind Actel Robotics
Actel Robotics is led by a supply-chain and automation veteran who has spent three decades turning emerging technology into measurable operational gains — the same discipline we bring to every robotics deployment.
Making Advanced Robotics Practical, Profitable, and Proven
Actel Robotics exists to help warehouse, distribution, and industrial operators capture the gains of autonomous robotics — without the risk and complexity of going it alone. We integrate field-proven platforms into one accountable, full-lifecycle program, turning emerging technology into measurable improvements in accuracy, throughput, safety, and cost. Our goal is simple: give operators of every size the confidence to deploy robotics that actually pays off.
Dan Tarpey
Dan Tarpey brings more than three decades of leadership in supply chain technology, industrial automation, and enterprise solution sales to the design, implementation, and strategic rollout of autonomous warehouse robotics. A serial founder and operations executive, he launched DataScan Technologies in Houston and built it into a regional leader in barcoding and scanning solutions before its acquisition. He later co-founded Versona Systems and a leading Automated Data Information company. Across these ventures he designed and deployed RFID, RTLS, and mobility solutions for manufacturing, retail, healthcare, logistics, and oil & gas clients—consistently converting emerging technology into measurable gains in visibility, efficiency, and profitability.
That same hands-on expertise in advanced solution design, system integration, and business-case development now drives Actel Robotics’ full-lifecycle approach. His background in executive operations, sales strategy, and change management equips him to guide organizations through the practical and cultural shifts required for successful robotics adoption.

Areas of Expertise
Hands-On From Assessment to Go-Live
Behind every deployment is a team of systems integrators, deployment engineers, and supply-chain specialists who stay involved at every stage. We don’t hand you a box and a manual — we assess your facility, build the business case, configure and integrate the hardware with your WMS or CMMS, train your people, and support the system for the long haul. It’s the same disciplined, technology-agnostic approach Dan has applied across three decades of automation programs.
That combination — deep supply-chain and automation experience, authorized access to five leading robot platforms, and a single point of accountability — is what lets mid-market operators adopt robotics with the same confidence as the national brands. When you work with Actel Robotics, you get a partner that has done this before and stays accountable for the outcome.
Expertise You Can Deploy With Confidence
Actel Robotics is the all-in-one warehouse robotics solution and authorized integrator for Corvus Robotics, Locus Robotics, Boston Dynamics, Ghost Robotics, and Asylon. Under Dan’s leadership, every engagement is grounded in real supply-chain and automation experience — from facility assessment and business-case development through deployment, integration, and ongoing optimization across Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma.
