Everything from Procurement
to Productive Operations

Most technology vendors sell you hardware and hand you a manual. Actel Robotics does the opposite. When you engage us for implementation, we become your deployment team — handling every step from the initial site survey through post-go-live optimization, with your staff trained and confident before we leave the building.

This is how enterprise operations teams prefer to buy autonomous robotics: one authorized partner who procures the right hardware, configures it for your specific environment, integrates it with your existing WMS or CMMS systems, and trains your team to operate and get maximum value from it — without internal IT or engineering resources required.

Our implementation service is available for all four platforms we deploy — Corvus One warehouse inventory drones, Boston Dynamics Spot, Ghost Robotics Vision 60, and Asylon DroneDog — as standalone deployments or as multi-platform programs covering different operational needs at the same facility.

🔩
Hardware procurement through authorized channels

Direct manufacturer relationships — no gray market, full warranty, latest firmware.

⚙️
Full onsite installation & configuration

Actel engineers on-site for the full installation period — no local contractor coordination required.

🔗
WMS, CMMS & enterprise systems integration

Bidirectional data sync with your existing systems — SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, Maximo, and more.

🎓
Comprehensive staff training program

Operations team, supervisors, and IT all trained and certified before handoff.

How a Deployment Actually Works

Every implementation follows a structured six-phase process. Timelines vary by platform and facility complexity, but the process is the same for a single warehouse in Houston and a 12-facility national rollout.

Phase 1

Site Survey & Scoping

Actel engineers visit your facility. We document the environment, map the deployment footprint, identify integration requirements, and produce a written proposal with fixed scope, timeline, and cost.

Typical duration: 1–2 days
Phase 2

Hardware Procurement

We procure all hardware through our direct manufacturer authorization agreements — drones, cradles, robots, docking stations, payloads, and accessories. Full warranty. No resellers. Latest available firmware.

Typical duration: 2–6 weeks
Phase 3

Pre-Deployment Prep

We coordinate with your facilities, IT, and operations teams on power drops, network requirements, access credentials, and safety protocols before any hardware arrives on-site. Zero surprises on installation day.

Typical duration: 2–4 weeks
Phase 4

Onsite Installation

Actel engineers are on-site for the full installation — mounting hardware, configuring systems, running test missions, verifying integration data flows, and documenting the as-deployed configuration. We don't leave until it works.

Typical duration: 1–2 weeks on-site
Phase 5

Systems Integration

We configure and test all bidirectional data integrations — WMS sync for Corvus One, CMMS integration for Spot inspection data, SCADA connections for facility monitoring. Every data flow validated end-to-end before handoff.

Typical duration: Concurrent with Phase 4
Phase 6

Staff Training & Handoff

Structured training program for operators, supervisors, and IT staff. Hands-on practice with the system running in your actual facility. Written SOPs delivered. Post-handoff support window included for every deployment.

Typical duration: 2–5 days training

Your Team Runs It.
We Make Sure They Can.

The best robotic deployment in the world fails if your team doesn't know how to use it, trust it, or maintain it. Our training program is designed to produce confident, capable operators — not people who know how to follow a checklist.

We train three distinct groups: the operations staff who work alongside the robots daily, the supervisors who manage exceptions and make scheduling decisions, and the IT and facilities teams who own the infrastructure and integrations. Each group gets the training that's relevant to their role — not a one-size-fits-all overview.

Every implementation includes a training completion sign-off, written SOPs for all routine tasks, and a 30-day post-go-live support window during which your team can request additional coaching sessions at no additional charge.

Training Curriculum

Operations Team
Daily co-existence with autonomous robots · Understanding mission schedules · Interpreting dashboard alerts · Handling common exceptions · Safety protocols and no-fly zones
Supervisors & Managers
Mission scheduling and zone configuration · Dashboard reporting and KPI interpretation · Exception triage and WMS correction workflow · Performance optimization over time
IT & Facilities
Network and connectivity requirements · Integration architecture and data flows · Hardware maintenance procedures · Escalation paths for technical issues
Documentation Delivered
Written SOPs for all routine tasks · Quick reference cards for common scenarios · Integration architecture diagram · Emergency contact and escalation procedures

Multi-Facility & National
Rollout Programs

Actel Robotics deploys nationally. Whether you have 2 DCs or 20, we structure multi-facility programs that deliver consistent deployment quality, standardized training, and unified reporting across your entire network.

Rollout Planning

We build a phased rollout calendar — sequencing facilities by priority, similarity, and logistics to minimize travel costs and maximize deployment speed across your network.

Standardized Configuration

Consistent system configuration, naming conventions, reporting structures, and SOPs across all facilities — so your corporate team sees apples-to-apples data from every location.

Unified Support

One Actel Robotics account team manages your full national program — consistent escalation paths, unified reporting, and a single point of contact for procurement, support, and optimization.

National Deployment Scope

We Deploy Across the United States

While our home market is the Gulf Coast — Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma — our implementation team deploys nationally. For multi-facility customers with locations outside our home region, we coordinate the full deployment program including travel, logistics, and local contractor coordination where required. Contact us to discuss your specific facility locations.

Implementation FAQs

More answers at our full FAQ page.

You need an IT point-of-contact who can provide API credentials and network access. Actel Robotics handles all the actual integration configuration work — building the data connections, testing the sync, and validating the data flows. Your IT team reviews and approves, but doesn't need to write any code or configure any middleware.
For Corvus One: approximately 3 months from signed agreement to go-live (including the pre-deployment and WMS integration phase). For Boston Dynamics Spot: 6–8 weeks. For Ghost Robotics and Asylon: 4–8 weeks depending on site complexity. Multi-facility programs are sequenced to overlap phases and reduce total calendar time.
Yes. Our implementation team deploys nationally. For facilities within our Gulf Coast home market (Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma), our response times and on-site presence are fastest. For national programs, we plan travel and logistics into the implementation timeline and cost structure. There is no geographic restriction on where we can deploy.
Every implementation includes a 30-day post-go-live support window with a dedicated Actel contact. After that, ongoing support is available through our maintenance and support service or the manufacturer's RaaS agreement (for Corvus). We structure support terms before signing so you know exactly what to expect.
Yes. We offer follow-on training sessions for new hires and refresher training as part of our ongoing support agreements. For high-turnover environments, we structure training documentation so your supervisors can conduct onboarding training independently using the SOPs and quick reference materials we provide at go-live.
